Summer Camp

The SC program enables young leaders and teachers to share their culture and ideas with the people of the United States for up to 4 months during the US summer camp season. It is divided into the Support Staff and Camp Counselor

Work&Travel

The SWT program provides foreign students with an opportunity to live and work in the US during their summer vacation from college to experience and to be exposed to the people and way of life in the United States

INTERNSHIP

The primary objectives of the Internship program are to enhance the skills and expertise of exchange visitors in their academic or occupational fields through participation in structured and guided work-based programs

The Exchange Program

The Exchange Visitor Program allows thousands of enthusiastic and highly motivated students worldwide to spend an unforgettable time in the USA. The main purpose of this program is to increase mutual understanding between the people of the United States and the people of other countries; thus promoting international cooperation between nations and positively contribute toward a peaceful world

Dominican Republic is well known for being very active on these exchange programs, and as a consequence it is considered as one of the countries worldwide that annually send more J-1 participants to the US to be part of these cultural experiences. In 2022 for example, the total of summer work travel exchange visitors amounted to 8,107, placing the DR in the second position from top 10 sending countries… making it a real milestone for our country.
