SUMMER CAMP

The SC program enables youth workers, teachers and post-secondary students to share their culture and ideas with the people of the United States for up to 4 months during the US summer camp season. Depending on the type of duties to perform by the participant, there will be two different programs:

1- Support Staff (SS): It is governed by the Work and Travel program. Students are placed in positions such as housekeeping, kitchen, maintenance, laundry, office, dining hall staff etc.

2- Camp Counselors (CC): It is governed by the camp counselor program. Participants have the responsibility to ensure camper overall well-being, keeping campers on schedule with activities, and leading camp activities.

Basic Requirements

- Be a post-secondary student, youth worker, teacher or individual with specialized skills.
- Has successfully completed at least one semester of studies (required for support staff).
- Basic to advanced proficiency of the English language.
- Be between eighteen (18) to twenty-seven (27) years old.
- The applicant has sufficient finance to support him/her self during the entire stay in the U.S.
